The suite of supply chain analytics features under the Portcast platform continues to expand with the introduction of the logistics KPI Dashboard — a powerful, data-driven workspace designed to help teams monitor carrier performance, trade lane efficiency, transit time reliability and supply chain bottlenecks at scale.

This new dashboard provides a consolidated, analytics-first view of historical logistics performance, enabling teams to quickly identify trends, benchmark carriers and routes, and uncover opportunities to reduce delays and improve planning accuracy.

By transforming shipment data into actionable KPIs, the Logistics KPI Dashboard empowers logistics, operations, and supply chain teams to move from reactive tracking to proactive performance management.

Feature description

The Logistics KPI Dashboard, available within the Portcast Web Application, provides a centralized analytics view of ocean shipment performance across carriers and trade lanes. Available performance metrics for historical container voyage data include:

Transit time insights:

• Volumes moved aggregated by trade lane
• Amount of volumes delayed
• Average transit time
• Average transit time difference vs planned
• Delay at origin and destination
• Reliability (on-time performance vs planned schedule)

Dwell time insights

• Avg dwell time at origin/destination/transhipment ports
• Avg difference vs planned dwell time
• Avg extra days of dwell time
