How to analyse a lane with Market Reliability: choosing a lane, reading Marina's summary, the service and carrier tables, the reliability chart, filters, sharing and export
Market Reliability is a lane-scoped analysis page: you pick an origin and a destination and read the page top to bottom. Marina, the Portcast AI Market Reliability Agent, opens with a written summary and recommendation, followed by the bookable services on the lane, the carriers, and how reliability has evolved over time.
For what the numbers mean and how on-time performance is measured, read Understanding Market Reliability first.
In the Portcast Web App, open the Planning section of the left navigation and select Market Reliability.

Available on subscription. Market Reliability is available to subscribing customers only, and it runs on the lanes your organisation has provided to Portcast: only those lanes appear in the Origin and Destination selectors. If you do not see Market Reliability in your navigation, or would like to subscribe or add lanes, get in touch with your account manager or write to [email protected].

Market Reliability sits in the Planning section of the navigation, next to Sailing Schedule and Port Congestion.
The page opens empty until a lane is selected. Use the Origin and Destination selectors in the filter bar to pick the port of loading and the port of discharge. Both lists contain the lanes enabled for your organisation, and you can search by port name or UN/LOCODE.

Before a lane is chosen, the page asks for an origin and a destination.

Search a port by name or UN/LOCODE in the Origin or Destination selector.
As soon as both ports are set, the page loads the lane analysis and the page URL is updated with the lane, so you can bookmark it or share it. Clear All resets the lane and all filters. Some neighbouring ports that work as one gateway (for example Los Angeles and Long Beach) are analysed together; Marina's summary tells you when that is the case.
At the top of the lane analysis, Marina gives you the read in plain language:

Example of Marina's summary for Shanghai to Los Angeles: the recommendation, the lane verdict and the three findings.
