If you are a customer for Ocean visibility, the Container tracking section is the heart of your Portcast platform. It is a centralized way to browse and track your previously uploaded containers, irrespective of the associated Booking/BL number.

Understanding the Container table view information
The Containers section can be accessed by going into the side navigation in the Portcast Web Application, and clicking on ‘Tracking’, then ‘Container’.
The table view displays a paginated view of all the Containers previously uploaded, either via API or Web Application, and includes provisional information on all the Org’s containers:

The default columns displayed include:
- Container No: The container number used during upload. Clicking on the container number opens the Container single view. Under the container number the associalted BL/Booking number is also displayed as secondary information.
- Carrier/vessel: The carrier’s SCAC code and the vessel(s) carrying the container.
- Journey: Details on the journey status and origin and destination port locodes for the container journey, as well as the intermediate transshipment ports (or indication of direct voyage if no transshipments are part of the voyage).
- Status: The status of the container (learn more about container statuses), as well as the On-time/delayed status (and amount of delay if applicable).
- ETA: The Predicted and Initial Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) (or actual arrival for Arrived containers) of the container.
- Latest Events: The latest event observed for the container, along with the time in which it happened/was observed.
- Incidents: List of incidents observed during the container’s voyage. Learn more about possible incidents on container voyages.

- Created: Date and time of when the container was created in the Portcast platform.
